About Me

My name is Sheila Odom Hollinghead and here’s a little about me:

My father, a career soldier, was stationed in Germany, and I entered the world at Nuremberg in 1953. After we left Germany, we lived many places such as Texas, Georgia, Mississippi, New Jersey, and France. He retired at Ft. Benning, Georgia when I was in high school.

I graduated from Troy University and later moved even farther into south Alabama and married a poultry farmer. I have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and three grandkids.

I have written one YA novel (first in a series), one thriller/sci fi novel for adults (also first in a series), and one nonfiction book for Bible study.

Here are some pictures of my part of sweet, home Alabama, including pictures of my grandkids, granddog, and the farm where we live:

  1. Always enjoy reading your writings…..Who would have thought, back in the days of college, we would be where we are now. God is Good.
